POWEL CROSLEY ESTATE

The Crosley Estate is a historical Mediterranean mansion directly on Sarasota Bay. Wedding ceremonies face the bay, the mansion or under the pavilion.  The interior great room, dining room and den accommodate up to 147 guests or chose the bay front lawns for over 500 guests.  The great room has ivory tones with vintage scones for evening lighting. If you chose white as a base, the backdrop of manicured lawns and the bluish tint of the sky and bay are breathtaking.  Popular entertainment additions are photo booths and cigar rollers and your bridal exit by yacht.  The latest addition is our contemporary chill lounges with LED lighting.

RINGLING COURTYARD

The Ringling Museum Courtyard is a Venetian style garden that can accommodate up to 1000 guests.  The courtyard is filled with bronze replicas of Greek and Roman sculpture, including a bronze cast of Michelangelo’s David.  The three terraces provide natural demarcations for weddings: the ceremony on the first terrace, the cocktail hour in the middle terrace and the wedding reception on the third terrace, next to the David.  Bands are on a stage above the third terrace fountain; and the center walkway is converted to a dance floor.  Our experienced Wedding and Event Coordinators will manage the unique challenges of this historical museum including the layouts, schedules, and rental policies.

RINGLING CA' D'ZAN

The Ca d'Zan Mansion is Sarasota’s Castle, a palatial mansion that reflects the splendor and romance of Italy. With its Venetian Gothic architecture, the mansion is a combination of the grandeur of Venice’s Doge’s Palace, combined with the gothic grace of Cà d’Oro, with Sarasota Bay serving as its Grand Canal.  The Ca d'Zan can accommodate 225 guests on the marble terrace.  Ceremonies can be in front of the mansion; the front lawns or the Campiello; a new patio addition that sits adjacent to the terrace. 

SELBY GARDENS

Marie Selby Gardens is 14 acres of lush, tropical gardens on Sarasota Bay with winding walkways through thousands of exotic plants, the bamboo pavilion, a waterfall garden and even a butterfly and hummingbird sanctuary. Wedding ceremonies are at the Wedding pavilion, under the Banyan trees or on the bay.  The Selby has two reception sites; the Great Room that can accommodate up to 240 guests; and the Mansion which can accommodate 50 guests in the dining room and den; or 120 on the manicured bay front lawns.  Because of the set-up times and distance between the wedding and reception sites, we recommend our experienced wedding coordinators to make sure everything runs smoothly.  Your décor options will be more challenging with this venue; so visit our Sarasota Wedding Gallery to see the Great room with accurate interior colors, drapery, LED lighting and ceiling treatments.
